Scott Hine is the Branch Manager and Loan Officer at the Fredericksburg, Virginia Branch for Assurance Financial. He joined the company in December of 2016, and brings over 18 years of experience as a loan officer. He is licensed through the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry in Virginia, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Kentucky and is well-recognized throughout the area for his particular expertise with new construction lending. Scott grew up in Michigan, but he has been living in Virginia since 2003. As a former educator with a Bachelor’s degree from Bob Jones University and a Master’s degree from Pensacola Christian College, his goal is not just to finance homes for people, but to give them the clearly communicated information they need to make the best decisions for their unique situations. Over the years he has had the privilege of helping hundreds of families buy, build, or refinance their most prized possessions and one of the most important investments of their lives, their homes. When not assisting clients with their financial needs, Scott is also a pastor at his local church. His outside interests include spending time with his family, playing golf, and working as the handyman around his own residence.
